Let’s make our dreams come true!

Welcome to our lobbying website!

We believe in:

Lump-sum tax for individuals

One person, independent of their income, uses the same amount of public resources. At best, one could argue for taxing based on weight (destroying the streets more with their weight) or age (walking slower and being an obstacle for others), but definitely not based on income. We would rather call this “flat tax”, but that term is already used for “flat-rate tax”, and that we don’t like.

Open public spending

Details of all money gathered from the citizens and all money spent on subsidies, public projects or anything else should be available to everyone, to the ultimate fine little detail. This intimately correlates with the point about lump-sum tax, as this way nobody can deduce the income one has from the amount of tax they are paying, yet they can still verify if they are doing their part in contributing. Regarding the payouts: if one needs money from the government, and if they really need it, they won’t object to their name and the amount and destination of the money they receive being known to everyone else as that is, arguably a lesser problem for them at that moment. Should their objection be more important than the money they wish to obtain, then they don’t really need it, hence that money is better not spent on them.

Open ballot system

Everyone can verify their own vote being registered and counted correctly in an open ballot system. Anyone can verify the results of the election themselves, compare results they see with others, etc. Vote buying or intimidation are subjects to be dealt with elsewhere. Limiting only tax-paying contributors to be able to cast a vote is something to think about, as that could be potentially important or even vital for the system not eventually being hijacked by potential freeloaders.

Multiple levels of representation

Demagogy is not an easy task when you talk to someone you respect and care about and are around regularly, so a small group of people should be represented by someone they personally know and choose among themselves. Those elected leaders should work together in a group where they all know each other and elect a representative for them, and so on, to the top.

Basic education for everyone

The purpose of education should be for everyone to be able to engage on a basic level in the society and for that, basic physical, religious and scientific education is necessary. It is important that the education requirement remains basic, but multi-dimensional as many people are directly opposed to spending time on learing things they don’t care about, but everyone should be encouraged to develop their skills in the subjects they find interesting. Also, it is important that this basic education remains open to everyone througout their life, should they feel the need to revisit a basic subject they didn’t fully understand beforehand, although advanced skill development are not within this scope.
